Brickfactor Philadelphia
It was an honor to be a judge to help select the Master Model Builder for LDC Philadelphia. As part of the trip, I was also on their local morning show on FOX29 News with one of our kid judges. I built a few Philadelphia-themed items and was also promoting the competition as part of the show.
Sister Circle
In December of 2019 I traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to be on the show “Sister Circle” to talk about LEGO and how parents can use the toy as a learning tool for their kids.
Bay Area Brickfactor
I traveled to Milpitas, California, to help select the Master Model Builder for the LEGOLAND Discovery Center opening in the Bay Area. As part of the trip I made a TV appearance on KTVU FOX2 News. In anticipation of this visit, I made a number of builds celebrating the Chinese New Year, the competition, and the upcoming football game.
The San Francisco 49ers had made it to the semi finals and would win to go on to Super Bowl LIV. Everyone in the Bay Area was very excited, and I was asked to build the team’s helmet as a last-minute addition. The news segment promoting the competition was expanded to include the team’s mascot, a famous singer from the area, and a few of the team’s cheerleaders.
